MANG Pending Review Resources

On January 10, 2020, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) announced the release of a new MANG Pending review process. Acentra Health developed a special feature in eQSuite® that allows providers to submit an inpatient admission request online by assigning a temporary identification number, while the patient is awaiting Medicaid coverage and their recipient identification number (RIN).

The following information only applies for patients who have a) submitted a complete Medicaid application and b) the application is categorized as “Medical Assistance No Grant” and is in MANG pending status.

This MANG Pending review process does not apply to Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Admissions or Prior Authorization for CABG or Back Surgeries.>
