Quality Improvement
Safeguarding patient safety requires effective collaboration. As Illinois’ quality improvement organization, evaluating providers’ care delivery involves both collaboration and expert guidance. We strongly encourage providers to employ continuous quality improvement techniques in evaluating the cause of problems and implementing a quality improvement plan.
Quality Coaching
This supplementary service includes one or more of the following offered by Acentra Health, formerly eQHealth:
- Basic education to conduct a thorough investigation
- Guidance in conducting a root-cause analysis
- Support in developing a comprehensive action plan (benchmarks, goals, timelines)
- How to perform analysis of patient safety outcomes
- Discuss the components of the Quality Improvement (QIP) form needed for QIP submission
